The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum found herself in an unexpected predicament when she got locked inside a bathroom during a watch party in Miami on Sunday. While the rest of the crowd was glued to the big game, she was stuck behind a stubborn door, desperately trying to make her way out. Naturally, she documented the ordeal for her Instagram followers.
Locked In While the Game Goes On
Frankel, 54, shared the chaotic moment on her Instagram Story, giving fans a front-row seat to her unexpected halftime horror. Holding up what appeared to be a broken doorknob, she explained her situation with a mix of frustration and humor.
“Everyone’s watching the game, and I’m texting all my friends because I’m locked in the fricking bathroom!” she exclaimed, visibly exasperated.
Despite her best efforts to make some noise, it seemed the game had everyone’s full attention—so much so that her cries for help went unnoticed. “I’m screaming… hello! Nothing! Because the game is on blast,” she said in another clip.
Social Media to the Rescue
In an attempt to get help, Frankel took an unconventional approach: she posted about it online. Though she didn’t disclose her exact location, she hoped someone at the party would see her Instagram Story and come to her aid.
It wasn’t long before someone finally heard her distress calls and tried to free her from the locked bathroom. However, the situation turned out to be more complicated than expected.
“They can’t get in from the outside either,” she shared, as someone off-camera apologized for the mishap. The tension was high, but in true Bethenny fashion, she managed to laugh it off.
A Stylish Mishap
Moments before her bathroom troubles began, Frankel had taken a mirror selfie to show off her game-day ensemble. She wore a pink tank top, a white layered skirt, and a beige cardigan—casual yet put-together for the big event.
While her outfit was on point, the situation she found herself in was anything but glamorous. Fortunately, she was eventually rescued, and the reality TV veteran was able to rejoin the party.
Just in Time for Kendrick Lamar’s Halftime Show
Despite the bathroom debacle, Frankel didn’t miss one of the most talked-about parts of the night—the halftime show. On Monday, she shared another Instagram video, giving a nod to Kendrick Lamar’s performance.
“I’ve obviously heard Kendrick Lamar’s name, and I’ve heard his music, but I could not have told you one of his songs,” she admitted. “I was watching the halftime show thinking, ‘Who is this?’ and I dig that guy’s music!”
She also defended Lamar against critics, calling his performance “awesome.” The rapper, who performed alongside SZA, even brought out Serena Williams in what some fans speculated was a subtle jab at Drake.
Frankel’s Super Bowl experience was far from ordinary. But in the end, she made it out of the bathroom, caught the halftime show, and added yet another wild story to her collection.
