Witches of WeHo Wine Still Flowing: Katie Maloney Spills the Vintage Tea

Turns out, the coven hasn’t closed shop just yet. While Katie Maloney has been busy stacking sandwiches at her trendy L.A. eatery, Something About Her, the Vanderpump Rules alum just uncorked a juicy update about her previous venture into the wine biz with Witches of WeHo. And yes—if you thought the red blend was history, think again.

Katie Maloney

The reality star made the reveal during a surprise appearance on her ex-husband Tom Schwartz’s new podcast, Detox Retox, when he casually pulled out a bottle of Potion No. 3 like it was 2019 all over again. Katie’s reaction? Equal parts stunned and nostalgic. What followed was an unexpected conversation about lingering wine labels, forgotten partnerships, and the magic of fermented grapes that still might be living rent-free in your local wine rack.

A Sip from the Past, Served on a Podcast

The reunion moment between exes wasn’t planned—or so it seemed.

Tom held up the Witches of WeHo’s red blend, Potion No. 3, prompting Katie to do a double-take. “Where did you get that?” she asked, clearly surprised.

That bottle, still sporting its cheeky label and fruity finish, wasn’t just for show. Katie took a moment to describe it like a true sommelier: “Hints of ripe red fruits and spice, a luscious blend to chill on ice.”

No shade, just sips.

Turns out, this wasn’t just nostalgia. According to Katie, the wine’s still out there. “I believe it’s still for sale,” she revealed. And just like that, fans were sent scrambling to find out if their favorite WeHo wine was still a thing.

Behind the Bottles: A Collab That Aged… Surprisingly Well

Katie didn’t just leave it at a “maybe it’s still around.” She pulled back the curtain on the whole collaboration.

It began in 2019, in partnership with Nocking Point Wines—a celeb-loved winery known for teaming up with bold personalities from sports and Hollywood. The Witches of WeHo—Katie, Kristen Doute, and Stassi Schroeder—initially signed on for what was meant to be a one-time drop.

But like any good reality TV spin-off, it grew legs.

“We wanted to do more than one,” Katie admitted. “We wanted to do as many as possible.”

And they did. Three potions were born:

  • Potion No. 1: A crisp, drink-me-now Pinot Grigio.

  • Potion No. 2: A blushing rosé perfect for brunch shade.

  • Potion No. 3: The bold red blend that’s still getting screen time.

Despite friendship fractures and business drama (classic Bravo), the wine collection outlived the Instagram posts—and apparently, it’s still corked and ready.

Kristen Doute Once Promised More—And She Meant It

It’s not just Katie who’s kept tabs on the wine.

Kristen Doute, another one-third of the trio, last mentioned the wine publicly in early 2020. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she confirmed: “The wine is still available.”

Back then, she said she and Katie were “working very hard on it.” And although the trio may have splintered personally, professionally they left something behind—literally, on shelves.

Their Pinot Grigio, rosé, and red blend still appear on Nocking Point Wines’ offerings, quietly standing strong amid celebrity collabs from athletes and actors.

What Happens to Wine When the Stars Move On?

It’s rare for a reality TV product tie-in to live past the drama it was born in. But Witches of WeHo wine? Somehow, it found a way.

There’s no flashy new promo. No influencer push. No RHOBH-style wine tastings on yachts. And yet, it’s still being bought.

Maybe it’s the campy label or the nostalgia factor. Maybe it’s just decent wine with decent price points. Or maybe fans really want to feel like they’re sipping drama out of a stemless glass.

Either way, it’s not gathering dust.

Sandwiches in the Day, Spells by the Bottle at Night

Katie may be slicing tomatoes instead of signing bottles these days, but she hasn’t forgotten where she started.

Something About Her—the L.A. sandwich shop she co-owns—is gaining buzz. But her surprise joy at seeing Potion No. 3 again showed that the wine wasn’t just a fleeting branding stunt. It was something she genuinely cared about.

Even if the Witches of WeHo have gone their separate ways in spirit, their spell over wine shelves lingers. And if Katie’s reaction is any clue, there might still be a little enchantment left in that bottle.
