After 17 years at the helm, Corey Bertali, owner of Grafton Travel and a member of Helloworld Travel, is stepping down, passing the torch to an in-house veteran, Louise Thompson. Thompson, who has been with the travel agency for 13 years, has become a mainstay in the Grafton community, providing her travel expertise and dedicated service.

Bertali, a well-known figure in the community, expressed his confidence in Thompson’s ability to carry forward the legacy of Grafton Travel. “I have complete faith in Louise and her standout abilities that will continue the long tradition of Grafton Travel as a successful and much-loved member of the business community,” he said.

A Storied Legacy in Travel and Community

Grafton Travel boasts an exceptional heritage, having operated continuously under the same business name for over 75 years. Since its official founding on March 14, 1949, the agency has woven itself into the fabric of the Grafton community, helping residents plan journeys and fulfill travel dreams for decades. Thompson’s ownership promises continuity, keeping the business not only in the hands of an expert but someone intimately familiar with the needs and preferences of local clients.

In Thompson’s words, “I am incredibly proud and excited to be taking the reins of this terrific agency. Corey and I have worked well together for a long time, and it will be a wonderful partnership going forward.”
